  • Review preparation of cost sheets and consolidated Cost Summary Reports (Local Component);

  • Reconcile cost data with subsidiary ledger for project accounts;

  • Encode and assist in the preparation of financial reports;

Liaison Aide

  • Deliver all kinds of communications to concerned department/division/section within the CO compound;
  • Maintain records of all communication delivered to concerned offices;

  • Mail communications to the nearby Post Office/private courier and receive communications from the Post Office;

Senior Building Electrician A

  • Plan work method in the installation or repair of electrical devices and system;
  • Design or interpret specification of completed layout;
  • Fit and install electrical wirings, apparatus and systems;
  • Ensure proper operation (electrical supply system, audio-visual facilities, all types of air-conditioning units; fire protection and alarm system and elevator transport system;
  • Perform preventive maintenance/repair work on electrical lighting equipment facilities and systems;
  • Undertake troubleshooting and repair of electrical and communication equipment and facilities including fire protection system;
  • Perform other related functions.

Electronics Communications Systems Operator B

  • Answer & connect telephone calls to different local telephones;
  • Receive & report all complaints of direct & local telephones;
  • Announce thru paging system all required message & information;
  • Prepare letter request re: installation of new direct/local phones & all reports on communication services of the PABX unit;
  • Prepare & file PLDT monthly telephone bills of project, tenants & NIA-CO;
  • Perform other related functions.

Supervising Engineer A

  1. Conduct detailed review of technical specifications, terms and conditions and other bid documents for all civil works, supply contracts, metal works and construction materials subject to domestic and international public bidding;
  2. Review of bid documents for all civil works, rental and supply contract subject to local minor tendering that are submitted by the different field offices for the approval of Central Office;
  3. Supervise the activities in the preparation of bid documents for civil works and supply contract procured through domestic competitive bidding;
  4. Attend pre-bidding conference and prepare supplemental notices;
  5. Prepare correspondence to different prospective bidder and other government agency and financing institution in relation to specification works;
  6. Conduct field inspection to gather pertinent data needed in the preparation of bidding documents and technical specifications;
  7. Perform other related functions.

Supervising Hydro-Geologist

  • Supervise the review geo-resistivity reports and analyze groundwater resource data for its optimum use and conservation of water quality;
  • Supervise the conduct resistivity survey and evaluate gathered hydrogeologic data to come with the most economic scheme of development;
  • Supervise the evaluation and correlation of drilling data with all existing hydrogeologic data and finalize the preliminary well design;
  • Perform researches on the modern techniques in groundwater investigation, evaluation and development and their applicability to local conditions;
  • Perform geo-resistivity survey through vertical electrical sounding (VES) and multi-electrode resistivity survey for groundwater investigation on shallow tube and deep well sources for irrigation projects; and
  • Supervise the conduct of geophysical investigation and geo-resistivity survey through multi-electrode survey for foundation investigation on dams and other appurtenant structures.

Supervising Soil Technologist

  • Organize in-house review and planning workshops on the research program of the Center to identify mature technologies for packaging and dissemination and validate research priorities for inclusion in subsequent programs;
  • Conduct survey- and investigatory-type studies on irrigation and drainage commodity focusing on enabling interventions for enhancing the beneficial impacts, operational functionality and service delivery of the said systems;
  • Prepare data- and findings-loaded abstracts with attribution to concerned researchers maintained of in-house and foreign completed research, studies and surveys on irrigation and drainage commodity, for compilation into quick-reference booklets;
  • Process secondary and primary data generated by domestic research, studies and surveys by applying appropriate statistical methods to determine data means, ranges and trends useful in characterizing situations in irrigated areas;
  • Update the research and training masterplans of the Center by taking into account necessity of supporting with methodologies and databases the planning, execution and assessment of priority thrusts in the irrigation sector; and
  • Perform other related functions.

Principal Engineer A

  • Assemble sampling and testing procedures with thresholds and apparatus indicated into manuals on quality and properties ascertainment for construction materials like cement, concrete, reinforcing bars, sand and gravel, and soil;
  • Organize training and orientation programs with field and project staff as target participants on materials handling and testing aimed at enhancing expertise and emphasizing importance of correct material specifications and concrete mixes;
  • Require field and project offices acquire complete set of needed materials testing equipment at correct specifications essential in the goal of unhindered execution of materials testing and uninterrupted execution of concrete pouring;
  • Collect design and construction standards for structure excavations, roads, dikes, retaining walls and canal structures like gates, thresher crossings and checks for reference in technical inspections of completed construction works;
  • Archive testing and inspection reports showing observed condition, properties (e.g., strength) and specifications of construction materials and constructed facilities for reference in enhancing control mechanisms for construction works;
  • Perform other related functions.
