Records Assistant

  • Assist in the filing of important documents such as Administrative Issuances, Contracts, Personnel files, etc;
  • Assist the Records Officers in Classification and Appraisal of bulks of Records for Inventory and Disposition;
  • Assist in the formulation of records retention and disposal schedule as guide to all disposition action on records;
  • Perform the routing of incoming documents thru the Agency’s Document Tracking System (DTS);
  • Assist in sending and acknowledging emails sent through the Personnel Relations, Documentation and Records Section (PRDRS);
  • Assist in the preparation of Certificates of Appearance for regional staff who will bring documents to the PRDRS; and;
  • Perform other related functions that the superior may assign.

Secretary A

  1. Manage scheduling, document organization and correspondence; ensuring clear communication within and outside the department;
  2. Implement a Document Tracking System to log the movement of the documents in and out of the department, ensuring  accountability and efficient retrieval;
  3. Responsible in preparing meeting agendas and minutes, coordinating events, managing supplies and travel arrangements, and support special projects and data management;
  4. Arrange official appointment of the Manager;
  5. Interview and screen callers and visitors;
  6. Take dictation and transcribe notes;
  7. Review budget, periodic reports and other relevant documents;
  8. Encode correspondence, reports and other documents;
  9. Prepare clerical reports and maintains office files and records;
  10. Transmit and follow-up orders and request of the supervisors;
  11. Keep an appointment calendar for the Manager: schedules appointments and reminds his/her appointment;
  12. Perform other related functions.

Supervising Engineer A

  • Review and Assess Feasibility Study Report/Design Data on the Land Resources, Survey Data (Topo, Control, etc.), Geologic Data, Hydrologic Data, Environmental Data (Hazard and Risk Assessment), and Gather Additional/Supplemental Data (Optional);
  • Conduct field inspection and validation and recommend the structure site, location, dam axis, configuration layout of Appurtenances, and confirmation of engineering data;
  • Undertake or Review the Detailed Design Process on the Geotechnical, Hydraulic Design and Analysis (Irrigation and Drainage Structures, River Training Works, Bridges, Siphons, Diversion Dams, and Storage Dams), Structural Design and Analysis (Pumping House, Power House, Irrigation and Drainage Structures, Bridges, Diversion Dams, and Storage Dams Appurtenances), Stability Check (Bridges, Siphons, Diversion Dams, and Storage Dams), Hydro Mechanical and Electrical Design Configuration, Setting, and Fitting to Civil Works, and Design Report Preparation;
  • Review or check preliminary detailed design plans and drawings (general layout, irrigation and drainage network, and schematic diagram);
  • Review or check the detailed plans and drawings and facilitate approval by the delegated authority;
  • Assess or review the value engineering or value analysis (VEVA) during the DED or DES stage;
  • Prepare new and update existing Civil Works design guidelines and criteria, and assist the CWDS head in formulating the activities of the section;
  • Conduct Irrigation, Drainage, Diversion Dams, and Reservoir Dams Infra-Structure Integrity, Efficiency, and Safety Assessment;
  • Provide technical assistance to field offices (IMO/RIO) and provide hands-on design training for field design staff; conduct lectures, workshops, and trainings for NIA design engineers;
  • Conduct a project inventory of completed projects;
  • Final inspection for testing and commissioning of completed infrastructural structures and for contract work acceptance;
  • Conduct coordination and technical discussions with the MES, ADS, and SS regarding design features;
  • Attend coordination meetings with other departments, divisions, and other private entities;
  • Perform other related functions.

Senior Engineer A

  • Assist in the conduct field inspection on construction equipment to assess compliance with existing rules and regulations on equipment operation and preventive maintenance and submit findings and recommendation;
  • Conduct field inspection to check and verify the actual status of equipment under repair;
  • Conduct technical inspection or test of newly delivered equipment, machinery, spare parts and tools delivered to the central office to determine conformity with specifications and prepare the corresponding inspection report (international bidding);
  • Undertake inspection of equipment of contractors in connection with the post qualification of bidders;
  • Prepare and propose policies regarding technical inspections, disposal of construction equipment, transport and allied equipment, tools and spare parts;
  • Inspect/assess/evaluate equipment units recommended for disposal nationwide and prepare corresponding recommendation for Top Management Approval;
  • Assist in evaluation/validation/monitoring of Program of Works (POW) for repair of equipment from different regional offices and prepare total annual program for the whole NIA;
  • Check and inspect equipment reporting system in field offices to determine compliance with the requirements and implementation of directives and memoranda, and check the implementation of the preventive maintenance schedule;
  • Prepare periodic equipment reports required by NIA and other government agencies;
  • Monitor and update list of sold equipment and income generated;
  • Review and evaluate request of cash release to support equipment repair;
  • Participate in the conduct of annual inventory of equipment at Central Office;
  • Perform other related functions.

Senior Audio-Visual Systems Technician

  1. Handle the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced AV systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance;
  2. Provide crucial support for high-profile events, ensuring smooth execution and immediate technical solutions;
  3. Assist in the audio-visual production team, ensure high-quality AVP presentations produce by the PAIS;
  4. Operate film or slide projects, sound systems, tape recorders and other audio- visual equipments;
  5. Take charge of the maintenance and upkeep of all audio-visual equipment;
  6. Assist in the distribution of other information materials prior to or after audio- visual showings;
  7. Assist in gathering feedback on audience reaction to audio-visual showings;
  8. Assist in the photo/video coverage documentation of all special events of the agency both at Central and Field Offices;
  9. Prepare blow-up photos for exhibits/displays and distribution of photos in the field offices;
  10. Compile all photos and video clips taken for the week;
  11. Perform other related functions.

Administrative Assistant II

  • Collects, reviews, and analyzes data on reports and documents;
  • Drafts and edits correspondences and messages;
  • Organize, scan, file, and maintain documents and records;
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Principal Engineer A

  • Assists the Engineering Division Manager with the overall engineering administration, control and coordination of all activities in the implementation of irrigation sub-projects;
  • Prepare and coordinate with the DAR and PARC the list of identified, validated, proposed or priority lists of irrigation sub-projects and funding proposal for succeeding years;
  • Prepare a program for the proposed project implementation schedule and consolidate the physical status of the proposed projects;
  • Supervise the evaluation of the Feasibility Study Report, detailed design and POW submitted by field offices and release budgetary requirements and ASA request after the review and approval of the Program of Work (POW);
  • Supervise, monitor, and evaluate the progress report of project implementation of all ongoing irrigation subprojects;
  • Undertake or conduct field inspection, validation, and evaluation of all work accomplished on all completed or ongoing irrigation projects nationwide;
  • Prepare communications to DAR/PARC and PMS or to the Regional/Irrigation Management Offices; and
  • Perform other related duties from time to time as assigned by the Engineering Division Manager.

Senior Economist A

  • Update procedures and measures for the evaluation of collected agricultural and economic data to be used in the preparation of project feasibility reports;
  • Coordinate and supervise studies, surveys and investigation conducted in connection with the proposed irrigation projects;
  • Review and evaluate reports from surveys, investigations, financial and economic viability studies, including the appendices, for incorporation into overall project feasibility study report;
  • Perform such other related functions as may be assigned.

Public Relations Officer B

  • Create and edit public write-ups, speeches, messages, letters and reports to ensure the Agency’s effective information dissemination;
  • Assist in the preparation of effective communication program;
  • Serve as Master of Ceremonies, support top management during events and participate in public service activities of the Agency;
  • Assist in the editing, proof-reading, preparation and distribution of the status reports/primer of the Agency;
  • Participate in creative sessions and assist with ISO-related activities;
  • Assist in editing, proofreading, preparation and distribution of official magazine and primers of the Agency;
  • Assist in preparation for press releases; and
  • Perform other related functions.

Administrative Assistant II

  • Responsible for the procurement of supplies and materials and the implementation of plans and programs for property control, utilization and disposal;
  • Responsible on keeping records of supplies and materials;
  • Assists in discharging property and procurement activities;
  • Undertakes records management for the project’s property;
  • Supervise and dispatch all the service vehicle of the project.
