Data Controller IV

  • Direct and review the project’s proposal for inclusion in the annual capital outlay based on approved targets to be undertaken by the Agency and set priorities for balanced development and incorporate corresponding fund support included in the over all program. Conduct agency consultative meetings and workshops relative thereto;
  • Direct the preparation, revisions/modifications of the consolidated annual capital out-lay together with their financial and physical targets including the list of sub-project by congressional district, by province and by region;
  • Direct the preparation of budget forms, briefing materials and documents to justify the annual capital outlay proposal;
  • Based on approved budget, direct and review the preparation of quarterly work and financial plan and agency performance measures; request fund realignment and additional budget including justifications thereto;
  • Assist top management in the preparation and justification of the agency’s annual capital out-lay proposal to DA, DBM, Congress;
  • Attend and represent the agency in periodic meetings, conferences, workshops, seminars conducted by DA, NEDA, DBM, hearings of Congress and various lending institutions;
  • Perform other related functions.

Data Encoder

  • Encode memoranda, letters, matrices, annual physical & financial reports, and updating of project profiles;
  • Operate multi-media, laptop and overhead projector during presentations and budget hearings;
  • Deliver letters, memorandums, and reports to various NIA departments and other government offices;
  • Perform other related functions.

Researcher-Analyst A

  • Assist in the preparation and updating of the agency's corporate plan;
  • Collect and analyze data on corporate performance indicators; maintain the data files;
  • Assist in the review of sectoral thrusts and strategies;
  • Gather information and materials regarding internal and external policies, program and factors affecting agency operations;
  • Assist in the preparation and updating of the log-term indicative irrigation development program; collect data/information as needed;
  • Gather data/ information needed in the preparation of policy, position and issue papers;
  • Gather and evaluate agro-socio- economic data for use in planning;
  • Perform other related functions.

Chief Internal Control Officer

  • Plan and coordinate the preparation of annual goals, objectives and performance targets of the organization and management auditing unit and recommend approval for implementation;
  • Review and evaluate audit analysis of existing management practices, problems and deficiencies and other records relative to organization, systems and procedures, and activities of various organizational units of the agency and recommend revisions and restrictive measures for improvement;
  • Review and evaluate report of findings and recommendations of internal audit inspection and examination of administrative organization of the agency;
  • Plan and supervise the conduct of internal audit of existing organization structures, functions, staffing pattern, manning standards of the different units of the agency; 
  • Review written internal audit reports and status of audit being conducted;
  • Review and evaluate  existing methods and procedures of the different organizational units and recommend revisions to simplify the system of work flow;
  • Establish devices to improve and strengthen the agency internal control system to determine weaknesses and inadequacies and recommend corrective measures;
  • Perform other related functions.

Utility Worker A

  • Reproduction of documents;
  • Deliver and receive documents to unit concerned;
  • Transmit message through fax machine to regions or office concerned;
  • Perform other related functions.

Senior Corporate Accounts Analyst

  • Prepare Withdrawal Application (Reimbursement, Replenishment &; Direct Payments);
  • Prepare Summary of Withdrawal application;
  • Record Withdrawal Authorization;
  • Prepare Monthly Status of Funds;
  • Prepare Monthly Loan Withdrawals;
  • Prepare Monthly Summary of Loan Disbursement;
  • Prepare Details of Cash/Non-Cash Transactions and Status of Foreign Borrowings;
  • Prepare Annual Project Expenditures – LP portion;
  • Prepare Annual Project Financial Reports – LP portion;
  • Perform other related functions.

Senior Geodetic Engineer

  • Evaluate reconnaissance survey of national project preparatory in establishing triangulation and/or transverse network;
  • Review computation of transverse, side slot and differential levelling network and plotting of computed data for the preparation of map manuscript;
  • Assist in the establishment of geodetic control, topographic survey, profiling and cross-sectioning of irrigation canals and types of survey works including transverse and a level network, astronomic/tidal observation;
  • Perform other related functions.

Administrative Assistant II

  • Performs secretarial services for the Manager, Engineering Division;
  • Transmit and follow up orders and request of the supervisors;
  • Keep an appointment calendar for the Manager, Engineering Division; and
  • Furnish duplicate copies of important documents upon request. 

Principal Engineer C

  • Assists the Division Manager B for the overall engineering administration, control and coordination of all activities in the implementation of irrigation sub-projects;
  • Prepare/coordinate with the DAR and PARC the list of identified/validated proposed/priority list of irrigation sub-projects and funding proposal for succeeding years;
  • Prepare program for the proposed project implementation schedule and consolidate the physical status of the proposed projects;
  • Supervise the evaluation of Feasibility Study Report submitted by field offices and release budgetary requirement/ASA request after the review and approval of Program of Work (POW);
  • Supervise, monitor, and evaluate progress report of project implementation of ongoing irrigation subprojects;
  • Undertake/conduct field inspection, validation and evaluation of all work accomplished on all completed/ongoing irrigation project nationwide;
  • Prepare communications to DAR/PARC and PMS or to the Regional/Irrigation Management Offices; and
  • Perform other related functions.

Secretary A

  1. Arrange schedules and keep calendar of official appointment for the Manager, and remind schedules of appointment;
  2. Take dictations and transcribe notes;
  3. Encode reports, correspondences, messages and memoranda;
  4. Receive and transmit messages; answer routine correspondences independently;
  5. Interview and screen callers and visitors;
  6. Maintain office files and records;
  7. Perform clerical works, orders and   requests from   supervisors; and
  8. Perform other related functions.
