REPRODUCTION MACHINE OPERATOR

  • Reproduce official records requested by employees and client;
  • Maintain the good condition of the reproduction machine. Contact reproduction technician, if necessary;
  • Replenish toner of reproduction machine;
  • Proper sorting of official records reproduced;
  • Maintain records and statistics of official records reproduced;
  • Requisition photo copy paper to be used in reproduction;
  • Perform other related functions.

COMPUTER FILE LIBRARIAN

  1. Perform indexing, cataloguing and archival of computer file stored in the file server and other storage media;
  2. Maintains accurate, complete, and orderly computer file storage such that they can be easily located, identified and retrieved when necessary.
  3. Maintains a library of in-house developed information systems documentation for use by information technology personnel and users;
  4. Updates files using Windows file server;
  5. Maintains inventory of ICT equipment based on location, by IP address and by MAC address;
  6. Maintains records of technical inspection reports;
  7. Perform other related functions;

RESEARCHER ANALYST A

  1. Assist in the preparation and updating of the agency’s corporate plan;
  2. Collect and analyze data on corporate performance indicators; maintain the data files;
  3. Assist in the review of sectoral thrusts and strategies;
  4. Gather information and materials regarding internal and external policies, program and factors affecting agency operations;
  5. Assist in the preparation and updating of the log-term indicative irrigation development program; collect data/information as needed;
  6. Gather data/ information needed in the preparation of policy, position and issue papers;
  7. Gather and evaluate agro-socio- economic data for use in planning;
  8. Perform other related functions.

CORPORATE PLANNING SPECIALIST

  1. Participate in the preparation and updating of the agency’s corporate plan;
  2. Analyze trends in accomplishment and assess the factors that may have positive or negative effects on agency performance;
  3. Review and evaluate sectoral thrusts and strategies; align these strategies with corporate objectives;
  4. Assess internal and external policies, programs and factors affecting agency operations; assist in preparing agency’s SWOT analysis;
  5. Prepare and update the long-term inidicative irrigation development program;coordinate with other NIA units regarding ongoing and proposed projects;
  6. Establish methodologies for projecting national and regional status of irrigation development, and for projecting rice production; recommend assumptions to be used; conduct sensitivity analyses as needed;
  7. Conduct policy studies, review and evaluation, assess current policies and impact of policy changes on the agency;
  8. Identify key result areas for corporate objectives and determine appropriate performance indicators for identified corporate strategies;
  9. Monitor development policies of the national government and program priorities of international funding institutions; determine effects on the agency’s plans and programs;
  10. Perform other related functions.

DATA ENCODER

  • Encode memoranda, letters, matrices, annual physical & financial reports, and updating of project profiles;
  • Operate multi-media, laptop and overhead projector during presentations and budget hearings;
  • Deliver letters, memorandums, and reports to various NIA departments and other government offices;
  • Perform other related functions.

DATA CONTROLLER IV

  1. Provide services related to collection of data/information, dissemination, sharing and access to various corporate data/information available in the network; 
  2. Receive, review, and control data/information, and documents for input and publication in the intranet; 
  3.  Sort and identify deficiencies in source documents for data encoding and return to them to person responsible if needed;
  4. Monitor data/information update of the agency’s intranet content;
  5. Assist in orientation and training of users on the use of the agency’s network and intranet;
  6. Perform other related functions.

FINANCIAL PLANNING ANALYST

  1. Prepare Consolidated Reports on all periodic reports submitted by the various field units;
  2. Evaluate and prepare list of viable units based on the submitted reports of the different field units;
  3. Prepare ASA based on the approved list of viable units for Viability Incentive Grant;
  4. Compile and update data information to be used in the study and analysis of income generation from investment, agri-business, ISF and other income;
  5. Conduct field work as deemeed necessary;
  6. Perform other related functions.

DATA ENCODER

  • Prepare transmittal and endorsement letters to reports and communications, in that order, in computerized form citing therein in concise statements salient features of the contents of the subject reports and communications;
  • Forward the communications and reports received by the Office, after the Center head had released such with instructions indicated, to concerned units or named staff with the specified action called for each noted for follow up;
  • Perform segregation and prioritization tasks for the communications and reports received by the Office, as means of pushing the Center head render action or decision only to the most urgent items in the incoming tray at every opportunity;
  • Assign day and time schedule for requests for talks or meetings by walk-in and by- appointment official guests of the Center, in accordance with arrival or contact time and the availability of the Center head or concerned Center staff
  • Usher walk-in and by-appointment guests, with slot durations for the talks or meetings underscored, to the Center head or staff according to the day and time schedule assigned to each to avert long queue of waiting guests;
  • Perform other related functions.

PRINCIPAL ENGINEER A

  • Prepare “what to look for” checklists complete with standard procedures and instrumentation for the assessment of the condition of reservoir and overflow dams anchored on the need to predict potential facility collapse or damage;
  • Formulate monitoring and assessment standards for the condition of dams and reservoirs useful in forecasting impending reservoir spillage and possible dam breach and forewarning the Center to launch forthright contingency measures;
  • Establish technical and financial readiness for the prompt execution of remedial and corrective measures to control or correct sprouting failures or breaches to dams and appurtenant structures aimed at averting catastrophes;
  • Interpret environmental and mining laws pertinent to protection and maintenance of the structural integrity of irrigation facilities like reservoir and overflow dams requisite to crafting and enforcing reinforcing and additional policies;
  • Assemble operations and maintenance policies for barrages, sluicegates, spillways and headgates for input in devising guidelines aimed at averting incidences of accelerated accumulation of sediments in sumps and canals;.
  • Perform other related functions.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER IV

  • Formulate planning and management principles with assessment thresholds for the establishment of guidelines useful in technology development and demonstration research farms on irrigation and drainage schemes, practices and facilities;
  • Mobilize governmental and private support with complementation mechanics established, through the proposal validation process, in the planning, implementation and review of research and training programs and dissemination of findings;
  • Harmonize Agency and irrigators associations’ responsibilities with innovations in the physical configuration, operations schemes and management requirement of irrigation and drainage systems, intended at achieving effective partnership;
  • Devise selection and screening parameters with thresholds assigned for the development of criteria in the short-listing and prioritization of irrigation and drainage projects for development and irrigation and drainage systems for upgrading;
  • Prepare research and training proposals with cost shown on irrigation and drainage commodity, giving higher priority to areas on filling in gaps in relevant technologies, enhancing operating skills and improving resource productivity;
  • Perform other related functions.
