Review the preliminary design data for use in the designs and cost estimates of dams, reservoirs, and power plants required for planning;
Review the design, layout, quantity, and cost estimates of high dams, afterbay dams, diversion weirs, spillways, diversion tunnels, outlet works, power plants, switchyards, transmission lines, and other related structures;
Undertake field evaluation of proposed dam sites, reservoir sites, power plant sites, and sites of other appurtenant structures, including sources of construction materials;
Review the formulation and development schemes of outsourced feasibility studies;
Monitor the progress of the activities of in-house and outsourced feasibility studies;
