• Recommend/apply software development principles, methods and tools in implementing Information System Applications;
• Identify criteria for deciding between acquisition of software packages and custom development of software;
• Customize a general purpose software package to provide specific functionality beyond the default settings;
• Lead system’s design and development for web applications;
• Configure software appropriately for system and user application;
• Analyze/Identify abnormal management information system performance/problems and recommend solutions;
• Update, modify and maintain existing computer program;
• Perform implementation  or changeover to new computerized system;
• Evaluate emergency technologies and potential effects on information system software;
• Recognize system alerts, security problems, environmental problems and implement recovery procedures needed;
• Develop detailed training, conversion and installation plan for developed information system applications;
• Create/maintain a basic internet programming document;
• Develop and update agency’s websites;
• Design and develop websites information system databases and web applications;
• Perform other related functions.
